Send your move brief

The form sets out everything a surveyor needs to come back with the next step. Pickup and drop-off addresses are required so we can scope route, access, and timing. Notes are optional but the more context you give, the more accurate the next reply.

What happens after you send

• The brief lands directly with the MTC operations team — not a call centre, not a referral aggregator.
• A surveyor reviews and replies promptly during working hours; briefs landing out-of-hours pick up at the start of the working week.
• For local UK moves, the first reply usually contains the survey arrangement.
• For UK-wide and international moves, the first reply confirms scope and proposes the survey method (video or in-person).
• The written, itemised quote follows the survey — never before.

What goes on the brief

• Pickup address — full street address with postcode for UK pickups, or street/town/country for non-UK origins.
• Drop-off address — same level of detail. For international moves the country is essential; the specific destination address can be approximate at this stage.
• Target date — optional but helpful. If your date isn't locked, leave it blank and tell us your target window in the notes.
• Notes — anything that affects scope: property size, specialist items, narrow access, lift availability, parking restrictions, any constraints on the move date.
